to be transported by motor vehicle under the leadership of registered adult Troop members and other associated adults with BSA Troop 218 on Saturday, February 26 & Sunday February 27, 2011 to the Agnes Beane property located in Northwestern New Hanover County, North Carolina for the purpose of and not limited to Troop camping and hiking along the banks of the Cape Fear River. I understand that there is a level of risk involved in transporting youth to and from the Beane property along with changeable weather conditions. I also understand that camping and hiking involves a great deal of physical endurance which can be demanding and that my son “is prepared ” to participate. I also acknowledge that my son is in excellent physical health to participate in the above mentioned events. With this knowledge in mind, I (we) do hereby release and forever discharge registered members of Boy Scout Troop 218 and associated adults with the Troop, the Corporate headquarters of the National Boy Scout Office in Irving Texas, Cape Fear Council BSA, Coastal District of which Troop 218 is located and property owner Agnes Beane from any injuries, losses, and damages that may occur to my son named herein and property arising out of or in connection with this Troop event.
